Gingerbread Cookie Alpha

Here is another full sized alpha for your holiday page layouts. With all the gingerbread folk I see in scrap kits, I thought some letters might be nice too. The drop shadows are only for illustration on the preview. Done in png format and 300 dpi. Download HERE

New Designer Previews

Just in time for the holiday season, I made a new designer preview - and it comes in eight(8) colors!

Yesterday, I used a tinsel strand to add a bit of pizzazz... so it became an add-on that you can buy if you want to use it on your previews. Tint to match or mix & match colors - perfect for the holidays.

After the tinted tinsel is added...

Blog update for Halo's

I tried to make a gold-ish blog background for Kimberly, to go with her new logo - but it didn't fit well, so I started over with a new idea. Kimberly got it up and she likes it a lot - even posted a "thank you note", which was very sweet of her. I took a screenshot, but you can check it out here.

Creepy-face Alpha

It's my favorite time of year and I love making spooky stuff. I ventured out a bit and made an alpha to use for your Trick-or-Treat scrap pages. These are designed for full-sized page layouts. The letters are approx 500x500 pixels, and rendered at 300 dpi for quality. Download HERE

New designer logo

I have a new customer that I have been making kit previews for (they are really cute kits too), but she didn't have a logo so I tossed one together on her preview layouts. Then I got to thinking about it after Kimberly mentioned what I had done. The logo sorta formed in my mind and I just had to put it on paper:

Even my hubby said he like it - and he usually doesn't comment too much. LOL

Hopefully Kimberly will adapt it for her blog (HERE) soon, and I will be using it on her kit previews too.

New Service for Designers

I love making ads.... and I am pretty good at it. I don't make scrap kits, so I have the time. And did I mention that I have tons of cu-clip-art that can be used to enhance sales ads? Honestly, I really do! You provide the details & preferences - and I go to work for you.

A birthday freebie

In honor of my recent birthday, I made a 4x6 brag-book-sized freebie for others to put their birthday pictures in. You can add text (a name, a date, etc.) too. Perfect for printing and framing, done in 300 dpi.

I hope you enjoy it... Download HERE

My new logo

I finally got around to creating my own designer logo for scrap offerings. I have been so busy making stuff for others, I kept putting mine on the back burner. Well, here it is - and the caricature was fashioned to look like me!! I promise though, I only wear pigtails when I am cleaning house, and my bangs have grown out now. LOL

2 new Designer Previews

I just love making these previews... maybe because few other designers make them.

This first one is a classic with grey tones and a splash of color - perfect to show off your creations. There are several title box options included to arrange as you wish, and it is in layers.

The second one is dark, yet has a splash of bright color against the blacks and kraft paper colors. This one is also in layers, and has paper display templates as a guide. These can be increased or decreased as needed. The torn section is for elements.

A new Designer Preview

I call this Acrylic & Lace and just put this into the store. This is another classic preview layout for designers who want something a bit different. The back glitter is changeable, the ribbon with acrylic buckle is for placing the text information about the kit & designer.

Mom's Day freebie #2

I know a lot of you frame pictures of your loved ones, so here is another 4"x6" brag book page for your Mom. All the focus will be on her with this gilded frame and the tribute of roses and daisies. Always in 300 dpi for quality printing, I hope you like it. Download HERE

Freebie for Mom's Day

Just fooling around and made a MOM page for your 4" x 6" brag books. The download has both versions - so you can choose which color suits you. Download HERE

Another Freebie

It seems a lot of folks use 4" x 6" brag books and this page could be used to show off a picture for many occasions. I am still thinking "spring" but it would also be nice for Mother's Day. Personal Use only. I hope you enjoy it. Download HERE

Preview template 2

Here is the second in this series - this one is based upon a stitched book. Lots of options here: the layers are all separate and the shadows are removable. I have added tabs and clips and a label if you need it.
You can find it here.

Preview template

I thought I would create a couple of templates - this way the designer can pick the colors and textures. This is the first one - based on the postage stamp sheet. All these layers are individual and the shadows are optional. You have total control with the template.

Custom Label

I made another label for Jimi's previews (to match the appetizing theme of the store). I think it turned out really cute. These are fun to do - I hope I get more requests.

April 5, 2009

Another custom Preview

Here is another custom preview I finished. Essy loves purple, and she is a nurse, so it didn't surprise me when she picked such a cute graphic for her logo. The text is just a sample - not permanent.

April 2, 2009

Red glitter

Okay, I went back to red. Gosh, I really have to get out of this color rut! LOL Anyhow, I added new textures and new shapes. It turned out quite different.

Jimi's flowers

Gosh, we all want it to be spring... but Jimi is making it for us. She is offering these wonderful flowers - and even more flowers!!

April 1, 2009

Turquoise glitter

I managed to find a new color! I don't imagine you see too many previews done in this color, not to mention with glitter! There are 3 options for the front paper - so this one is very versatile too. I added lots of extras too.

March 28, 2009

Red Tag

More red. Hmmm, maybe I am stuck in this color. LOL There are just certain colors that look well with old papers and cardboard, and red is one of them. Lots of textures and options with this preview.

Bracket 2

Dark blue seemed to be a good idea. This classic preview layout has silver trim and a glass bauble for your logo. Sprinkle in some glitter and you have a notable presentation.

Red hearts

Everyone has to have something in romantic red. This layout is good for so many occasions. Consider this for Valentine's Day; Mother's Day; and even Christmas. Lots of options, and made in layers.

Preview service

Hate to do your scrap previews? Is putting all the pieces in there too time consuming? Well, I will do it for you. There is a one-page and a two-page preview layout service available.

March 23, 2009

Freebie album

You knew there just HAD to be a freebie in here somewhere. Well here it is. This fits the Gracie chipboard mini-album. You can snag it HERE.

Custom preview

I haven't really advertised this yet, but I make custom previews. You just give me the pertinent info, and I go to work. This is the first one I made - for Joyfully Jimi. Everyone thought it was cute, and I thought it was sooo her!

March 17, 2009

Purple binder

Some of my fellow designers love purple as much as I do. This is what took shape when I got to working on a notebook idea. There are different ways to use this - lots of options too.
You can find it here.

March 16, 2009

Laced

Keeping in mind that Easter is approaching, I thought I should make something using pastels. Using lots of layers, I connected them all with lacing.
You can get it here.

Scalloped set

Scalloped edges are popular too, but I decided to use a scalloped shape, rather than simply scalloped edges. There are two layouts - one for elements and one for papers.
You can find it here.

Stamp shape

Postage stamp shapes are popular, so I used that here as a focal point to the basic preview layout. I am still using reds, with lots of layers to play with.
You can find it here.

The house

Still using reds, I thought of a "grand opening" and thought this preview layout would be unique.
You can find it here.

Bracket 3

I got caught up with the store colors and made some previews using them. This one I call Bracket 3. It is available at the store. Follow this link.

New preview layouts

New store, new layouts. These are the two I made for the new store - SCRAPPETIZING.
I sure hope you drop by - here is the link.
